What is a cacao ceremony?
A cacao ceremony is a ritual and meditation form to connect with your heart, yourself and/or others. The older peoples in Mesoamerica did this thousands of years ago, it was meant to connect with the divine. Cacao, or Theobroma means: food of the gods.
A cacao ceremony is much more than just drinking cacao. It is a ceremony that creates a safe and loving space. During the ceremony, different elements such as meditation, breathing exercises, singing and dancing can be brought together.
The Magic of Cacao
Cacao is known as a heart-opening plant medicine rich in powerful compounds such as theobromine, phenylethylamine, and anandamide. These natural substances can induce feelings of happiness, love, and unity, allowing you to experience a deeper connection with yourself and others.
